Calling Wales!

During the bilingual classes extra course “Games and Roleplay” on Monday,1B had the opportunity to talk to some school pupils in Wales. The oldest children from Llwydcoed Primary School in South Wales, aged 10 and 11, spent 45 minutes talking to some of the pupils in 1B.

We exchanged information about our schools, our local areas, our extra-curricular activities and even learned some interesting facts about St. David’s Day. We got to see the Welsh pupils in their school uniforms and hear their accents. Mrs Wagner, our native speaker from Wales, was also on hand just in case we needed any help understanding the Welsh words.

We all enjoyed the activity and hope to continue with this cooperation next year.
