30 Okt BG/BRG Villach St. Martin Conquers Cambridge
As in previous years, a number of our pupils from a range of different classes, including 6A and 7A -7E, successfully participated in advanced English language courses during the2013/14 and 2014/15 school years, leading to the acquisition of University of Cambridge English language exams. Both exams taken by our students, namely the First Certificate in English, representing level B2 on the Common European Framework, as well as the Certificate in Advanced English, level C1, are internationally recognised qualifications with a lifelong validity which undoubtedly provide pupils with significant advantages regarding career opportunities.
A celebratory invitation was made by the WIFI in Klagenfurt on 30th September 2015 for students and teachers of those who passed the exams. The afternoon, attended by all our students, our Headmistress, Roswitha Errath and teachers Lorna Schatzmayr as well as Renate Wurm- Smole, was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone and certainly made all teaching staff concerned extremely proud of the achievements of the pupils at our school.
