On November 15th, the classes 7B, 8A and 8D met with the US ambassador Victoria Reggie Kennedy at the Mediathek in Villach.

Thanks to the great organization of Mrs Zerlauth and Mrs Nitsche, we had the unique opportunity to ask questions about politics and the US in general as well as educate ourselves further on it. Talking to Mrs Kennedy was quite an experience as she truly tried to answer our questions as well as possible and appreciated the comfortable atmosphere that was created with her in that process.

She was quite hopeful for the future and for our youth that is shaping today’s tomorrow already. After advising us to vote and let our voices be heard, especially on political issues but also regarding standing up for ourselves in everyday life, we ended the hour with a few Netflix suggestions and good laughs.
