CONFERMENT OF CAMBRIDGE CERTIFICATES

CONFERMENT OF CAMBRIDGE CERTIFICATES

The Bilingual students taking the Cambridge Advanced Certificate exam in English again impressed with their remarkable success.

In addition to the conferment of the official certificates at the WIFI testing center in Klagenfurt on September 27th, a ceremony was held, as is tradition, in the school on October 12th.  Sonia Pichler of the IBCA was also present to congratulate the students on their achievements.

The Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) corresponds to the C1level of the Common European Framework of References for Languages (CEFR) and is at a higher level than the requirements for the Austrian high school diploma (Matura B2).  The exam serves to demonstrate that the candidates have achieved an extraordinary level of English appropriate for further academic and professional pursuits.

In June 2022, 35 students from the International Bilingual Classes took the Cambridge Advanced English examination and all were awarded Cambridge certificates.  St. Martin congratulates all participants on their hard work.
