School Rules and Code of Conduct

The school rules were written by parents, teachers and students together with the aim of creating a positive atmosphere where students can learn in safe and secure surroundings.

General Rules

Alcohol, drugs, tobacco products and dangerous objects are forbidden on school premises. Property of the school is not to be vandalized. We keep our school clean, wear slippers and take care when using school equipment. Any visible damage, especially any that can be dangerous, must be immediately reported to the school administration or the school caretaker. We use the trash bins to dispose waste. Proper attire must be worn at all times. No loitering in the locker area.

Code of Conduct

We arrive on time for lessons; if late, we apologize and explain why. Activities which hinder an efficient learning atmosphere (e.g. listening to music, using cell phones, eating etc.) are not allowed. It is expected that students take part in the lessons and conscientiously complete all assignments. All communications from the school must be reliably given to the parents. It is strictly forbidden to make audio or video recordings during class without explicit permission from the affected person(s). Students are obligated to report teachers’ absence to the administration. In case of student illness, parents are obligated to contact the school immediately. Parents and students are required to inform the class teacher in advance of any appointments during school hours (e.g. doctor’s appointments, music exams, driving tests etc.)
